Bios
Kathleen Campbell - Lead Vocals
Kathleen began her career by singing and playing her guitar in the Old Port, including such places as the Old Port Tavern, The Hedge Hog and City Side Deck. This eventually turned into a duo with an additional guitar playerand she began performing during wedding ceremonies and playing at colleges in the area. Her musical influences include Sara Vaughn, Diana Ross, Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott and Alicia Keyes. “What is most important to me about music is its ability to make people smile and bring them together in celebration. I enjoy being part of that.” – K.C.
Paul French - Lead Guitar/Vocals
Paul has been playing the guitar for more than 35 years. He teaches private lessons and currently manages Buckdancer's Choice School of Music. He played his frist wedding reception in 1982 with The Standards and graduated from the Berklee College of Music in 1991. Paul played with the critically acclaimed the Whigs as a guitarist, singer & songwriter. In 1993 he embarked on a solo career which resulted in the release of two CD’s. Paul can play any style of music and is a master on guitar. Paul founded Wavelength in 1998.
Paul Dionne - Keyboards/Vocals
Paul’s debut on the music scene goes back to 1976 with the emergence of Transmission, a 5-piece pop-machine that played everywhere from the high school dance scene & nursing homes to the opening of the Cumberland County Civic Center. Paul has played just about every genre of music there is throughout the past 33 years and his resume includes an impressive list of bands from Sunburst, Omega, Mirrors, Brick House to pick-up gigs with Art & The Art Tones. Paul takes great pride in delivering the highest quality of music for every celebration.
Alex Gingrich - Percussions/Vocals
Alex has been playing drums & percussion since the 5th grade. Born into a musical family, he began in the school band and was awarded the Louis Armstrong Award for outstanding Jazz Musician at his commencement. In his 32 years, Alex has played everything from pit orchestra for South Pacific to punk music with Boom Shaka. Along with Wavelength, his other current projects include Truckbody Jones, an original blues-rock band and The Blues Punks, a blues cover band. Alex is a seasoned professional in every way.
Garth Adams - Bass Guitar/Vocals
Garth has been playing bass guitar for over 35 years and has a variety of influences over those years. You can tell Garth really enjoys playing and meeting new people with his infectious smile and easy-going attitude. His background includes playing in blues, disco, country and original rock and roll bands as well as having played for several years in the San Francisco Bay area. Garth has had the pleasure of opening for and meeting Dolly Parton, NRBQ, John Lee Hooker and Sleepy LeBeef to name a few.
Johnna Dionne - Business Manager
Johnna works closely with Wavelength's clients in the entertainment planning process before the big day often working hand in hand with wedding planners and coordinators. She brings her marketing background, event planning and customer service experience to the band after more than 13 years as a sales and marketing coordinator. Johnna is our contact person for Wavelength and is available to brides, grooms and all our clients to coordinate the celebration of your dreams.
